A playful and curious new arrival is turning heads at Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens
We’ve got some exciting news to share from Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens… we’ve welcomed a very special new resident!
Say hello to Pumpkin, a young female red panda who has just joined us from Exmoor Zoo in Devon. With her curious spirit and playful personality, she’s already stealing hearts here at Thrigby.
Pumpkin is settling beautifully into her new home, exploring every branch and ramp in her specially designed enclosure. You might have already caught a glimpse of her climbing trees and enjoying her surroundings in our recent social media video!
Red pandas are officially classed as an endangered species by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and we’re proud to be playing a role in their conservation by providing a safe, enriching environment for Pumpkin.
